Moving
Your Account To Alabama Teachers Credit
Union Is Easy With Our Online Switch Kit.
Open a new account with ATCU
First, you may fill out the
New Account Request Form
and email it to
dhill@atcu.com.
Or print it and bring it with you when you
visit one of our five locations to open your
new account with us. A deposit of $25 is
required to open a share account.
Under the USA Patriot Act, we are required
to ask for your Name, Address, Date of birth
and Other Information that will allow us to
identify you. We will also ask to see your
Driver’s license or State Issued ID and
Social Security Card.
In addition, all new accounts are verified
through ChexSystems before opening.
Change Automatic Payments
Complete the
Automatic Payment Transfer
form.
After this form is forwarded to the
appropriate institutions, your account
activity will be redirected to ATCU.
Change Direct Deposit
If you have a direct deposit at another
financial institution, complete and present
the
Direct Deposit Change
form.
Please make sure to allow enough time and
leave adequate funds to cover any
outstanding checks and automatic withdrawals
that need to clear before closing your old
accounts.
Close Your Old account
Complete the
Closure Form and forward it to
the financial institution that you currently
have your account with.
