Share Accounts
Share accounts (also called a savings
account) pay high monthly dividends on
qualified balances; rates are determined by
the Board of Directors.
To join Alabama Teachers Credit Union,
simply deposit $25 or more into a share
account.
Under the USA Patriot Act:
To help the government fight the funding of
terrorism and money laundering activities,
Federal law requires all financial
institution
to obtain, verify, and record information
that identifies each person
who opens an account.
What this means to you:

We will ask for your Name,
Address, Date of birth and Other Information
that will allow us to identify you.
2.
We will also ask to see your
Driver’s license and Other
Identifying Documents.

All new accounts are verified through ChexSystems before opening.
What this means to you:
1.
This determines the validity
of member information
when opening accounts for an account
decision.
